It is also important to understand the psychological and social impacts of PPPD.

For this reason, Ryan, one of our previous PhD students, used qualitative interviews to better understand how the diagnosis influences the daily lives of those affected. These interviews are valuable not only for understanding how PPPD can influence wellbeing, but additionally uses the voice of people with PPPD to help us better understand the condition with a view to improving upon current awareness and treatment.
