How to choose an environment

To play an environment, left click on the image.

We recommend all people start playing the Desert environment. Desert was designed to be less stimulating than other environments. This will allow you understand how you respond to the visual stimulation and be aware of how you may respond to other environments within Balance-Land.

Desert

The Desert environment is a lower visual intensity environment. It is recommended to play this environment if it is your first time in Balanceland.

New features in this environment:

• Optional moving animals
• Numbers game mode
• Pictures game mode

Park

The park environment has long curving pathways with various trees and foliage. Depending on options taken, the level of visual stimulation can be varied. It is recommended to be played after Desert.

Optional moving animals have been added.

Supermarket

The Supermarket is a highly visually stimulating environment. It is not recommended to be played by people that have not previously played Park or Desert.

Optional moving people have been added.

Urban

The Urban environment has options to add in moving vehicles for additional stimulation. This can be overwhelming and it is recommended only for people that find Supermarket not stimulating enough.

The entire environment is new! However, these are only in the Urban environment:

• Driving mode
• Moving cars and people
