PPPD and the brain

We also want to consider what might be happening in the brains of individuals with PPPD. This project uses magnetoencephalography (MEG), a non-invasive scanning technique which looks at brain
activity. Using MEG, we are investigating how the brain responds to different types of images and visual tasks, to better understand what might be producing PPPD symptoms.

Alice, one of the PhD students in the Dizzy Lab, will be recruiting participants for this study later this year. If you are interested in taking part, please do get in touch via our ‘Get Involved’ page.
