Ryan Gamble

My name is Ryan Gamble – I’m a PhD student, at Cardiff University’s Dizzy Lab, exploring the neuro-vestibular disorder Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) – a chronic illness that is characterised by visually induced dizziness. Broadly, my research interests lie in the use of multi-media platforms (such as television, movies and video games) as rehabilitation tools for PPPD.

Furthermore, I am also interested in the lived experiences of PPPD and the psycho-social impacts that the disorder, and diagnosis, may have on quality of life.
